Academy Program
Built for Players Who Want More
The Academy is not about shortcuts or highlight plays.
It’s about building reliable, trusted players who can contribute consistently in team environments.
Every session is structured, intentional, and part of a bigger development plan. Players don’t just get reps — they learn how to train, think, and grow.
Why the academy stands out
Structured. Intentional.
Built for long-term development
The HoopLab Academy isn’t built around random drills or isolated workouts. It’s designed as a structured development environment where every session connects to a bigger progression.
Players don’t just train harder — they train smarter, with clear standards and expectations that carry into games.

What Every Academy Player Trains
how placement works
Step 1 — Jumpstart Ready Check
All new players begin with the Jumpstart Ready Check to establish a consistent starting point.
Step 2 — Starting Point Session (by invitation)
Players demonstrating high readiness may complete a Starting Point Session, allowing coaches to recommend the most suitable level.
Placement is based on readiness and development needs — not age or team selection.

what a typical session looks like
Each Academy session follows a consistent structure:
-
Intent-setting
-
Movement preparation
-
Skill development
-
Decision-making application
-
Competitive scenarios
-
Reflection
The structure remains consistent — the challenge increases.
